MARICE ISIDRO

           Having worked since my collegiate days, I know how it is to allocate my time effectively because back then I needed to balance studies with work at the same time. From this experience, I was able to impose on myself a strict sense of responsibility – I became accountable for the choices I make and I am able to make the most out of my time. At a relatively young age, I developed a strong drive for learning most especially in the field where my endeavors are focused – photojournalism. I always find myself a challenge by identifying new things that I can learn and working with people who has far more experiences than I do.

            The people around me would often describe me as very transparent and honest since I uphold those values in belief that it pays a lot to be that kind of person. Through the time I was exposed to photojournalism, I became more confident with my skills and ability to learn and pick up things very well but at the same time keeping in my mind that there much more things to learn and experience than what I have now, hence I always push myself to learn through taking on any opportunities as they are learning experiences for me. Despite getting myself busy with work and studies for the past few years, I find time for my hobbies and passions such as dancing, playing basketball, cooking and teaching (photography and drums, mostly with kids).
